Sadly, Teachers came to an end after four series' but this site will hopefully still give you many great Teachers memories.
Teachers was a Channel 4 show set in, you guessed it, a school! It centred around the lives of some of the staff that worked there. During series 1 the main character was English teacher Simon Casey but later went on to focus around many other of the character's lives.
First aired in 2001, the show became a big success for Channel 4 until the end of series 3 in 2003. Series 4 started in 2004 but many of the main characters had then left or been killed off. Summerdown had also merged with another school and with the arrival of new, not as popular characters, series four didn't get great ratings and another series was not commisioned.
Teachers was known for the staff being as immature as the kids, the evenings spent at the pub, each morning beginning with the days of the week shown in many different ways such as shaven into pupils heads, made up of Brian's dribble and stamped on the famous donkey, also shown randomly in most episodes!
