Teachers was filmed in Bristol, England. There were many different locations used to shoot the series', the main one being the school.

In the series it is called Summerdown School but in real life it was former school Merrywood Boys in Knowle West that was used. However, for series 4 a new school had to be found because the producers only had use of the school for three years. In the show the school merged with another school called Watkins Comprehensive and was then filmed at Lockleaze in Clifton.
