Jenny and Alec are still together and really annoying Susan by being all over each other all the time. She dislikes Alec because of what he's turning Jenny into, someone who isn't that bothered about work anymore, so much so that she skives a day off to spend the day with him. Things get so bad Susan even spends a night sleeping at Kurt and Brians! Things get tense between Susan and Jenny and Susan ends up getting drunk and slagging Alec off in front of Jenny and they have a row and fall out.
Susan drags the others round to the flat so they can see for themselves but they are just sitting apart reading and then go to bed so the others think she's over-reacting. Jenny's annoyed and asks Susan if they are really that bad and Susan says yes. They end up making friends but Susan says she still doesn't like him.
J.P brings a bloke back to the flat one night but Kurt makes him feel uncomfortable so he leaves. Then he comes back the next night and they sleep together but J.P makes it clear he's just a one night stand. Kurt and Brian feel a bit uncomfortable and they make a rule that everyone has to ask everyone else if they want to bring someone back. The next day J.P asks if he can and Brian and Kurt are confused when he brings a girl back. They are just friends but Brian and Kurt don't think of that!
Penny keeps being nice to Carol and keeps getting her to do things for her like photocopying. Liz has a go at her about it and Penny starts crying but Liz doesn't fall for it and says Penny is false and lazy. Penny has to cover a lesson and it's obvious she doesn't know what she's talking about. Jenny has a bit of a moan about it and Penny starts crying again and blames Simon for not helping her. Simon later has a go at her and again she cries but Liz tells him she's faking it.
