Brian tells the others that he always stands by his principles. They didn't know he had any but he tells them the one thing he'd never do is sleep with his friend's ex girlfriends - the ex is hexed!
There is a bearded man lurking around outside school. He then goes in and starts talking to Brian and Kurt and it turns out to be Simon back from South America. They are really excited and want to hear all about his travels but he seems reluctant to say much. Bob's annoyed when he sees Simon and even more annoyed when Clare asks if he wants some supply work as they are short staffed and he agrees.
Brian's seen a fit dinnerlady, Eileen, but doesn't want to ask her out so asks Simon to ask her for a drink but make it obvious it's with his mates so he does and she says yes.
At the pub Brian doesn't say a word as he says he is playing hard to get. Then when Simon leaves Eileen soon follows. It's pouring with rain and Simon's missed the bus and forgot the key to Kurt and Brian's so Eileen says he can stay at hers and they end up having sex. He feels really guilty because of Brian but eventually tells him the truth and he's really angry.
Kurt thinks its great how Simon's been around the world but evenutally Simon tells him he bottled out and didn't go anywhere apart from London. Kurt isn't friends with him anymore!
Kurt makes a drunken bet with Lindsay that he will go travelling too. She bets him his eyebrows that he doesn't. The rules are he has to stick a pin in a map and go there within a month. Lindsay deliberately moves the map and he sticks the pin in Antartica and he refuses to go so loses his eyebrows! However, it is later decided that because Simon didn't go anywhere and that Kurt made the bet because he thought he had, that the bet was void!
Brian has a think about things and decides if it was the other way round he would have slept with Eileen too. So he tells Simon he doesn't mind if he goes out with her because he must really like her to have done what he did. But Simon being Simon did it without thinking and doesn't want to go out with her and is relieved when she says she doesn't fancy him anymore. Brian overhears and feels sorry for him and they make friends again then Kurt makes friends with him because Brian does!
