It's Weapons Amnesty at school. Clare has set up a box for anyone to put weapons in. She catches Kurt with a Swiss army knife and tells him he must put it in there. He tells Brian he can't get rid of Timothy! He says he named it that after the kid who stuck it in his leg and that he hasn't been in a fight since he's had it so he doesn't put it in the box.
Bob's in hospital so Matt takes over as Head of English. He says he doesn't want to because all heads of departments are wankers! But he soon starts being nasty to everyone. He makes Penny do a report he was meant to do and even takes Simon and Penny to Clare when they walk out of a meeting. Simon gets so fed up of him he goes and gets Bob back. It turns out he only had root canal work done. Matt goes back to normal and apologises to Simon.
Brian and Kurt decide that too many of them are going to the pub now and it's turned from a group to a gang. They don't want to be part of a gang so they go and sit on their own. The next day they give some of the others invitations to go and sit with them but they complain that its cold and stinks as it's by the toilet and so one by one they go and sit in the usual place with Bob and evenutally Brian and Kurt reluctantly go and join them.
