Simon, Kurt and Brian are shocked when Susan tells them she's up for Head of Year and at first they don't want her to get it as it will make her one of "them", meaning like Clare and Bob and they won't like her anymore. But then they find out Jenny is also up for it and they know if she gets it she will be bossing them around all the time. Simon has a thought of Jenny dressed up in leather with a whip dragging him around on a lead! In the end Susan gets the job and they are all over the moon.
Simon smokes a joint with student Arnie. Arnie later gets caught with Canabis on him and Simon's worried Arnie will say Simon was smoking it too so he tries to cover for him and not let his parents find out but Jenny tells them at parent's evening. Clare then wants to get the police involved so Simon gets Maggie in to talk to year 11 and is embarrassed when everyone finds out she's his girlfriend. Then she is upset when Simon pulls away when she goes to kiss him goodbye so when he asks her for a meal she pretends she has to work.
Brian wants to start teaching A.S level P.E next year so Clare tells him to see what response he gets at the parents evening. He gets really prepared for it unlike Simon and Kurt who don't even know what most of the kid's names are but Brian is disappointed when no-one goes to see him.
